I’m Brittany,

There's a particular kind of relief that comes from sitting across from someone who genuinely sees you, not just the presenting problem, not just the polished version you brought to the appointment, but you. That's what I'm here for.

My approach is direct and grounded. I will tell you the truth, and I will do it with care. I have a way of cutting through the noise to what actually matters — and somehow, in the middle of all of it, making you laugh when you least expect it. I think both of those things belong in a therapy room. Healing doesn't have to be heavy every minute.

I work with adolescents, young adults, and individuals across all walks of life, and I feel especially called to the places where identity, body, and belonging intersect. I have a particular heart for BIPOC communities, where those intersections often carry the added weight of cultural expectation, generational silence, and systems that weren't built with you in mind — and I'm committed to offering a space that is genuinely culturally responsive, not just culturally aware.

I specialize in disordered eating — including Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, ARFID, and Binge Eating Disorder, and I hold specialized training in Family-Based Therapy (FBT), an approach that brings families into the recovery process in a meaningful, empowering way. Once a month, I facilitate a Saturday parent support group for families navigating FBT, because the people who love someone through an eating disorder need their own space, too.

I also work with teens, young adults, and adults navigating ADHD, anxiety, depression, and the particular kind of disorientation that comes with growing up and figuring out who you are. I use an integrative, attachment-focused lens — which is a clinical way of saying that I believe relationships are at the center of most of what hurts us, and most of what heals us.

I earned my undergraduate degree in Psychology and Criminal Justice from Georgia Southern University and my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Mercer University. My experience spans inpatient and outpatient settings, and I am a certified Prepare and Enrich facilitator for couples work as well.

If you're looking for a therapist who will sit with you in the hard stuff, name what she sees, and occasionally make you laugh when you least expect it — I'd be honored to be that person for you.
